Kitchen & Bar-Pizzeria

From the kitchen, sliding and French doors open directly onto the covered terrace beneath the portico. Here you will find a large dining table and a comfortable lounge area beside the characterful old water well. The terrace provides a natural transition between the house, the garden and the swimming pool.

The spacious kitchen, complete with a central island, is fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay, including an induction hob, fan oven, dishwasher, Nespresso machine, traditional Italian coffee maker (moka pot) and all the other amenities you would expect.

The black-and-white film stills on the walls pay subtle tribute to Italian culinary cinema. Guests who would like to watch the original films can find them in the DVD collection in the Mambo living area.

Outdoor Living
At the front of Casa Monteverdi you will find the charming Bar-Pizzeria. This was where the previous owners, the Ferrero family, gathered for many years with relatives, friends and neighbours to enjoy long summer evenings filled with conversation, good food and laughter. That tradition still lives on today – the true Italian way of life: La Vita è Bella.

The original wood-fired pizza oven has been carefully preserved and is now the centrepiece of our popular pizza workshops. Learning to make authentic Italian pizzas together is, for many of our guests, one of the highlights of their stay.
