Location

Casa Monteverdi is situated on the hills between Castelnuovo Calcea and Vinchio. Two small villages with nothing more than a bakery, a cafe, a couple of charming restaurants, a small store and many beautiful houses, churches and farms. The locals are friendly and hospitable, and will gladly welcome you to one of the many wine tastings and other regional culinary treats. The lovely Nizza Monferrato has many restaurants, shops, supermarkets, farmers’ markets and outside patios and is only a ten-minute drive or 20-minute cycle away. The bigger, medieval city of Asti is a 20-minute drive and the charming town of Alba, home of the truffle festival and Nutella, is only 30 minutes away.
